I follow a fab blog created by Danielle La Porte where there are no excuses for not being your best. Her mantra is an all out assault on everything that can bring you down. She recently presented a Burning Question that I would like to answer:
How do you want it all to feel?
I want my day to feel like a Monarch butterfly taking flight after opening it’s compressed, wet wings.
I want kissing to feel like a warm summer Alaskan day.
I want my next success to feel like an accomplished top of the mountain hike where the cold breeze refreshes your mind, body and spirit.
I want my body to feel as strong as my courage.
I want smiling to feel like an unconditional joyful emotion devoid of judgement.
I want my friendships to feel like a warm coffee shop filled with close tables and even closer people.
I want my nervous system to feel like the open Montana highways – fast speed, openness and surrounded by beauty.
I want my neighborhood to feel like a catchy Jack Johnson song.
I want my integrity to feel like an old oak tree.
I want my marriage to feel like a strong, familiar, comfortable embrace each day.
I want my word to feel like Fort Knox.
I want my laughter to feel like a contagious ripple that spreads throughout my family.
I want the end of the day to feel like a nap in the hammock – soft swaying and relaxing.
I want my challenges to feel like small bumps in my road of life.
I want my love to feel like a delicious cup of hot chocolate with marshmallows on top.
I want my writing to feel like comfort leaping from the pages right into your heart.
I want my ideas to feel like the joy we embrace when finding a dollar in a winter coat pocket.
Join in the fun and share how YOU want everything in your life to feel. Writing it out is the first step to making it real.

I participated in this too – love your “how do you want to feels” especially “end of day” and “friendship” – I’m with you!
